Course 1:

KIDS MINISTRY LEADER

A successful and effective teacher understands the needs of kids and tailors teaching to meet their specific needs. Learn teaching tips and age-specific characteristics to better engage kids as well as how to discuss salvation in age-appropriate ways and engage kids in gospel conversations. Explore discipleship frameworks for your kids ministry to reach, teach, and engage kids of all ages.

HOW TO TEACH KIDS

How do you teach? How has God wired the kids in your class or ministry? What do they need to learn and grow? A successful and effective teacher understands the needs of kids and tailors teaching to meet their specific needs. This course examines seven to tips to effectively reach, teach, and engage kids.

CHARACTERISTICS OF KIDS

Kids are so much fun! They’re learning how the world works and how they fit into it, but every child grows and develops at a different rate. This course discusses characteristics of children.

LEVELS OF BIBLICAL LEARNING

As kids grow, their understanding of foundational truths grows with them. Levels of Biblical Learning covers 10 biblical concept areas—God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Bible, Salvation, Creation, Church, People, Family, Community & World—that children and students can learn as they study God’s Word. The concept areas are presented through eight different age ranges, from infancy through high school, and reflect levels of understanding that follow how God designed children to learn

WAYS TO INVOLVE KIDS IN MISSIONS

Mission opportunities shouldn’t be reserved only for teens and adults because missions are the job of every Christian. So how can we include kids? This course examines four age-appropriate ways to involve kids in missions.

 

 

COURSE 2

 

EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP IN KIDS MINISTRY

Sharing the gospel is important, but it isn’t hard. We must practice, prepare, and share. Like anything else, it gets easier the more you do it. This course examines how to discuss salvation in age-appropriate ways with kids and provides ten talking tips for engaging kids in gospel conversations. It also examines how to support and help parents point their kids to the truth of God’s Word daily, fulfilling Deuteronomy 6:4-9. This course provides practical tips to prepare a child for baptism and how to disciple a child after he or she has made a salvation decision.

HOW TO LEAD A CHILD TO CHRIST

Sharing the gospel with a child is something that everybody should do and anybody can do. Everybody thinks that somebody should do it, unfortunately, it is often nobody that actually does it. This course encourages kids ministry volunteers and leaders with tips to share the gospel in age-appropriate ways for children.

TIPS FOR GOSPEL CONVERSATIONS WITH KIDS

Sharing the gospel is important, but it isn’t hard. We must practice, prepare, and share. Like anything else, it gets easier the more you do it. This course provides ten talking tips for engaging in gospel conversations with kids.

EQUIPPING PARENTS IN GOSPEL CONVERSATIONS

If Deuteronomy 6 shows that parents are the primary disciplers of their children, how do we equip parents to feel comfortable and confident in gospel conversations with their kids? This course discusses how to support and help parents point their kids to the truth of God’s Word daily. 

PREPARING KIDS FOR BAPTISM

Once a child makes a decision to follow Jesus Christ, how do you prepare them for baptism? This course discusses the importance of kids articulating their decision to follow Christ, how to explain what baptism is and isn’t, what details kids and parents need to know for the day of baptism, and how to celebrate and commemorate as a church.

WAYS TO DISCIPLE KIDS

A child’s decision to follow Jesus Christ is not the end of our ministry. This course helps how you can disciple kids to become lifelong followers of Christ. 

COURSE 3

 

DISCIPLESHIP FRAMEWORKS FOR KIDS MINISTRY

Kids ministry is more than teaching a Bible story, doing a craft or game, singing a song, and then calling it a day. This course discusses how a healthy kids ministry focuses on evangelism and discipleship. And explores a gospel-centered framework, a life application framework, and a biblical literacy framework.

A GOSPEL-CENTERED DISCIPLESHIP FRAMEWORK

A gospel-centered discipleship framework focuses on weaving the gospel narrative throughout all of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. This course discusses how to help kids understand that the Bible is about God and His plan to rescue us through His Son Jesus.

A LIFE APPLICATION DISCIPLESHIP FRAMEWORK

The life application discipleship framework centers around teaching the Bible to kids in an age appropriate way. Course discusses how to disciple the various ages and stages in kids ministry. 

A BIBLICAL LITERACY DISCIPLESHIP FRAMEWORK

The biblical literacy approach to teaching is rooted in scripture itself being the starting point for teaching kids. This course examines how to help kids become biblically literate.
